Arabic (العربية al-ʻarabīyah or عربي/عربى ʻarabī) belongs to the Semitic language family descended from the Classical Arabic of 6th century Arabia, with approx. 221 million Arabic speakers in Afghanistan, Algeria, Bahrain, Cyprus, Egypt, Eritrea, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kenya etc. Arabic incorporates both the abstract language and varieties of Arabic spoken in a wide circular of territory, extending over the Western Asia, North Africa, and East Africa. There are two main types of written Arabic:
Arabic alphabets:- The Arabic letters in order abjad is the Arabic script as it is classified for writing the Arabic language. It is writing from right to left, in a cursive style, and incorporates 28 letters. Since letters normally stands for consonants, it is considered an abjad. Literary Arabic has six pure vowels, with short /a i u/ and corresponding long vowels /aː iː uː/. There are also two diphthongs: /aj/ and /aw/.
The pronunciation of the vowels varies from speaker to speaker, in a manner that has a tendency to resound the pronunciation of the corresponding colloquial variety (casual mixture). Regardless, there are some regular patterns.
