About Bangla :- Bangla language is Eastern Indo-Aryan languages which is mainly use to speak in Bangladesh. Bangla is native to the region of eastern South Asia known as Bengal, which is mainly comprises of Bangladesh and the Indian state of West Bengal. Also, this is the national language of Bangladesh.

Besides all this, it is also spoken by the majority of the population in the union territory Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Bangla, being the member of the Indo-Aryan languages, is derived from Sanskrit, and hence appears to be similar to Bengali. Bengali and Bangla is probably quiet similar but their dialects are very much different. It is also written as left-to-right and top-to-bottom of page.

In Bangla, there are 52 characters or alphabets in total, known as "Bornomala (বর্ণমালা)". Out of 52 alphabets, 12 alphabets are known as vowels and 40 alphabets are known as consonant.

Relation of Bangla language with Bengali language :-

The language Bangla is strongly influenced with Perso-Arabic due to majority in the population of Islam. For example, it seen in the greetings of "Salaam aleykum", "Wa aleykum as-salaam" as well as "Khoda hafez", the choice of names like, (Mohammed, Tanvir, Khaleda, Fatema, etc.) the names of family members "abba" (father) and "amma" (mother) also like this only.

The etymology of Bangla is mainly influenced from the city of Bangladesh i.e., Chottogram. In West Bengal the language situation is somewhat different. Being predominantly a Hindu state, the Hindu greeting is "Namashkar". The way of addressing family members is somewhat different also: "ma" (mother), "baba" or "pita" (father). However, it is in the case of "dada" that confusion arises. For Muslims "dada" is paternal grandfather whereas for Hindus it is elder brother.

Here we are representing some of the major changes which distinguishes among these two languages. It includes "গোসল করা" (BD) / "স্নান করা" (BN) meaning to "bathe", "সাথে" (BD) / "সঙ্গে" (BN) meaning "with", "পানি" (BD) / "জল" (BN) meaning "water" and "লবন" (BD) / "নুন" (BN) meaning "salt", these prove not to be an obstacle to learning Bangla. Where, BN represents the Bengali language (India) and BD represents Bangla language from (Bangladesh).

The only difference between the two of them is that Bangladeshi Bangla has a hint of Urdu in it. Bangla has heavy Urdu influence and Bengali may not understand the words. Both the language are same, the difference is in their dialects only. Just two sons of the same mother, one bought up the Hindu way, the other bought up in Islam.
